Who may apply for a scholarship?

GoVS believes any sincere and determined student should have the opportunity to continue education after graduating from high school. Graduating high school seniors of the Vinton-Shellsburg district and home school graduates of the district are eligible to apply for scholarships.

How are local scholarships awarded?
Students must complete an application form to be eligible for GoVS awards. An awards committee will anonymously score the applicants on work experience, school and community activities, and academic record.
