What is GoVS?

Generating Opportunities for Viking Scholars

Operated by an all-volunteer board of directors, the purpose of GoVS is to expand access to higher education by involving and assisting the community in financially supporting local students.

GoVS awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to members of each graduating class from the Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District.
